We found Boo at one of our local pet stores, here in San Luis Obispo. When we first saw her there, I held her and pet her for a little bit. She was in a cage with 4 other kitties at the time. I pleaded with Richard to let me have her to bring her home. We'd already had 3 other kitties so he wasn't so sure about bringing home a 4th. A couple of weeks later we were back in that same pet store, and lo and behold, she was still there. She was with 3 different kitties now. I just had to take her out and hold her again. Well, after that, she just had to come home with us. I couldn't bear to leave her there again. She and I just clicked, and I just knew I had to bring her home. So, home she came on July 1st, 200; and, Boo was introduced to her new sisters and brother. She was off to the vet for a well check and shots on July 6th. Boo came through with a clean bill of health from the vet. If you click on the pictures, you can see the full size ones :) Just as with children, it's important to keep good records of your kitties health as well. It certainly comes in handy, so that you know EXACTLY when their boosters are due. Contrary to popular belief, kitties need to get boosters too, not just dogs. Amazing how many folks don't realize that kitties need shots too. Shots are not just a dog thing, and they are just as important for kitties as they are dogs. Along with Boo's shot records below, we will also be listing all her vet visits too. At least this way if we should misplace the papers, we'll have it all here too, and could easily print it out to take with us to the vet. :)
